# Sign Your Loan Agreement Through Docusign

> Sign your loan agreement in-app; the step is marked complete only after Docusign confirms completion server-side.

Your loan agreement locks in the approved amount, term, and monthly rate. You sign it inside the Masterpiece Labs app, in an embedded Docusign session.

## Signing the agreement

The app opens a Docusign Focused View pre-filled with your approved terms. Read the agreement, sign, and finish inside the embedded view. You do not need a Docusign account.

## When the step is complete

The browser sees a `signing_complete` event as soon as you finish signing, but Masterpiece Labs marks the step complete only when Docusign confirms completion server-side. That confirmation usually arrives within seconds. You will see a "waiting for secure confirmation" state until it does.

  Docusign Connect is the source of truth for completion. The finalization flow will not advance past this step on browser confirmation alone.

  If a Docusign envelope is declined or voided, you cannot re-sign the same agreement type. Contact your Masterpiece Labs point of contact if you need a new envelope.

## After signing

Once the loan agreement is `COMPLETED`, the app shows the fully executed document and unblocks any steps waiting on it. You can proceed with DACA setup in parallel or continue in order.
